3. Professional Conduct
- Treat all members, staff, and guests with respect and courtesy always, in person and online.
- Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour of any kind, including on the basis of gender, race, religion, nationality, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
- Disagreements happen — handle them professionally and directly or raise them with TeamMembersNow if they can't be resolved between the parties involved.
- Represent your business, qualifications, and services honestly. Do not misrepresent your expertise, credentials, or the nature of your business to fellow members or their clients.
4. Business Introductions & Dealings
- Only introduce fellow members to your genuine contacts when you believe it's a good fit — introductions exist to build trust, not to be traded as favours.
- Honor commitments made to other members and their clients, including pricing, timelines, and scope of work discussed.
- Do not use member contact information or introductions obtained through TeamMembersNow for purposes unrelated to legitimate business within the network.
- If an introduction doesn't work out, communicate promptly and professionally rather than leaving the other party without a response.
5. Confidentiality & Privacy
- Treat information shared by fellow members in confidence — including business plans, client details, and pricing — as confidential unless you're given explicit permission to share it.
- Do not use another member's business information for competitive advantage outside the spirit of the network.
- Respect the privacy of member contact details; do not add fellow members to external mailing lists or third-party marketing without consent.
6. Social Media & Promotional Material
- Promotional material submitted for posting on TeamMembersNow's social media channels must be accurate, professional, and free of misleading claims.
- Do not submit content that is offensive, discriminatory, or that infringes on the intellectual property of others.
- TeamMembersNow reserves the right to decline or remove promotional material that does not meet these standards.
- When representing your membership publicly (e.g. displaying your membership card, referencing TeamMembersNow in your own marketing), do so accurately and do not imply endorsements that haven't been given.
7. Events & the Annual Gala
- Conduct yourself professionally at the annual gala and any other TeamMembersNow event, as you would at any business function.
- Networking is welcome and encouraged — aggressive selling, uninvited solicitation, or monopolizing conversations to the exclusion of others is not.
- Voting for the Best Partner of the Year award should reflect genuine assessment of a member's contribution to the community — vote trading or coordinated block voting undermines the integrity of the award and is not permitted.
8. Conflicts of Interest
- If you hold a role (e.g. on a committee, or in judging any award) where a conflict of interest could arise with another member, disclose it and recuse yourself from related decisions.
- Do not use any position of trust within TeamMembersNow (e.g. organizing committee) for personal business advantage over other members.
9. Reporting Concerns
- If you experience or witness a breach of this Code — whether from another member, a partner company, or at an event — please report it to us at [email protected]. Reports are handled confidentially and taken seriously.
- We ask that members raise concerns in good faith and refrain from making false or malicious reports about fellow members.
10. Enforcement
TeamMembersNow reserves the right to take action in response to breaches of this Code, which may include:
- Informal resolution — a conversation to address and resolve minor issues.
- Formal warning — written notice for more serious or repeated issues.
- Suspension — temporary loss of membership benefits pending review.
- Termination — removal from the network for serious or repeated violations, without refund of membership fees.
The severity and nature of the response will depend on the specific circumstances, at the discretion of TeamMembersNow.
